Honestly, I'm at this point I'm totally invested in this story line and can't wait for book 3! This is a fantastic book, well story wise. My issue - the proof reader, if there was one needs to be fired. There were a ton of grammatical errors that could easily have been corrected just by using spell check. So I took one star away just for that. The second star - for poor Donnie from book one who somehow became Darryl in book 2. At first I thought it as just a mistake because there were several times when Nicky and Magnus got switched mid paragraph. But alas, it was throughout the whole book. So I took off a star for that. If the grammatical errors were cleaned up, this would be a 5 star series! I really loved it that much!Product details

Book two of the Nekolaus series!!! Fantastic continuation of a series )
Loved it, can't wait for book 3. There were a couple of inconsistencies with book 1 that bothered me though, like Donnie's name became Darryl in book 2. Also the phrase 'crotch of the neck' irritated me since it was written multiple times its 'crook' you don't have a crotch at your neck, lol.
The story though was great and kept me just as interested as the first book. If you liked the first book you'll like this one also.
This is crazy. I thought I was reading an ending but all I got was another beginning. Is this story going to end?
One of the best series I've read. Looking forward to the 3rd. Suspenseful and Heart wrenching a must read!
Have to admit it.. I love Nicky. He got me in the first one. He's spunky. Maggie is likeable and I have grown to like him as well. I can't wait to read the 3rd one. It should prove interesting. Tks.
The second book was filled with intrigue. The plot seemed to twist leaving you wondering how Nicky could possibly escape with his life. If he could plot an escape with whom would he put his trust. I enjoyed the way the author kept the plot moving, even now at the end I still can not guess if Nicky has any allies among his friends. It is a rare book were you can place yourself in the characters' world then feel emotions rise and fall as you read. When I was finished reading this book I was sorry that it was not longer! 5+
I want to read the next book in this series when the author has it finished, and hope for more books from Derekica Snake.
I really like this series... In the 2nd book I liked how Nicky and Magnus finally came together... Don't get me wrong it was still some punches to the face and slapping around between the two but their chemistry is awesome... I also like the introduction to the new secondary characters as well and wonder if they're going to make an appearance in the 3rd book..
I gave it four stars instead of five because I had a problem with Donnie turning into Daryl and then in the middle of the story Sharon turned into Sarah where was the proofreader... Now that threw me off... But will be patiently waiting for book 3
